What is your title?

Ok, I am sure to take some heat for this. I see lots of people using “professor” as their title in BJJ. Here is the thing, if you are Brazilian with Portuguese as your 1st language, I have no issue with you calling your teacher “professor”, because in Portuguese, it means teacher! The English definition for “Professor” does not apply.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Think about how many things you do because you think you can get away with it. How many corners do we cut because we can get away with it but we know it is the wrong thing to do? How many excuses have we made to justify these actions? Nobody is innocent, we all have done it.

Stop doubling down on doubt

Answer the question

In almost every physical encounter against another person, I would hit a point where I had to answer the question. It feels like time slows down, all these thoughts race thru my brain, and I have to make decision. I trained to answer the question as a killer.
