90% of everything is mental. You have to believe you can do most things before you will even come close to success. You have to have desire to overcome the obstacles that will definitely be in your way as you take something from dream to reality. Your mental state will either pick you up or weigh you down.
It has been said that all things can be turned into positives with the right mental attitude. It is true but needs to be grounded in reality. We shouldn’t reconstruct the truth to fit what our mind needs. We need to wrap our mind around reality and deal with it in a way that makes us better.
So you lost your last fight. You can sit around and say you suck or you can take a hard look at it and make the necessary changes to be better.
So you won your last fight. You can believe your own BS and think you finally “Got It” or you can look at the reality of things and make the necessary changes to be better.
The difference between winning and losing is not much. In both cases you trained, you competed, and you dealt with the outcome. Some people seem to never lose and others seem to never win. How do you flip the script? It is all a head game.
Winners become losers when they can’t handle the pressure of being expected to win or they become arrogant and stop working as hard as they did as a contender. Losers become winners when they don’t let losing weigh them down and they use their loss as fuel for the fire to burn a path to victory.
You have to believe to make the struggle worth it. You have to be positive so you don’t get overwhelmed and quit. Quitting is the easiest thing to do and the most mentally weak position to take. A mind that can quit is a mind that will never realise its full potential.
No matter what side of the coin you are on, winning or losing. You have to have a strong mental game to stay on top or to get on top. Belief is the foundation to your future success. Positive mental outlooks will give you the room you need to struggle and persevere.
